For The Paladin

I finally managed to get rid of that nasty virus, and now that I’ve reinstalled windows and installed and patched WoW I’m back in the game. So far I’ve gotten to 40 frost emblems and while I know it’s not enough to get any T10 pieces (which cost anywhere from 60 to 95 badges, which is a lot for someone who isn’t raiding ICC), I can say that my gear is improving thanks to the massive amount of triumph badges you can collect from doing 5-6 instances in a row.

For most holy paladins, you’ll find that a 1-handed mace and shield combo is the only way to go. By the time you’ve hit 80, you should’ve already seen the War Mace of Unrequited Love. Some who prefer the stamina for PvP will take the Titansteel Guardian, but for PvE purposes the former is better. It’s probably your best bet wihle doing heroics to get your emblems. During your heroic runs, you should pick up Mariel’s Sorrow off of Eadric the Pure in Trial of the Champion. If you’re in a PvE guild that enjoys raiding different instances throughout the week, I would look for the Argent Resolve which is dropped by Anub’arak in the Trial of the Crusader. I would also keep an eye out for Aesuga, Hand of the Ardent Champion, which is taken from General Vezax in Ulduar. The cream of the crop; however, is the Royal Scepter of Terenas II. Those stats, the socket, and an enchantment all lead to best in slot for patch 3.3.3.
